Pregcheck pregnancy test strips 2 pcs
Pregcheck pregnancy test strips are a more affordable alternative to a traditional pregnancy test. With this pregnancy test, you can easily find out if you are pregnant. You can take the test on the first day after your period is due.
Pregcheck pregnancy test strips come with 2 disposable cups, which make the tests easier to use and more hygienic. Urine is collected in a cup from which it is absorbed into the test strip. Pregcheck pregnancy test strips are sensitive and you can get a reliable result on the first day of your missed period.
With the Pregcheck pregnancy test strip, you can get a positive result as early as the expected day of your period. The pregnancy test can be performed at any time of day. If you want to take the test before or on the expected day of your period, it is recommended to use the first morning urine, which has the highest possible HCG hormone concentration. The risk of tests taken long before the expected start date of menstruation is a false positive result, which may be due to, for example, a very early miscarriage.
When using the Pregcheck pregnancy test strip, the required amount of urine for the test can be collected either in the plastic cups included in the test package or in another clean container and the urine can be absorbed from it into the test stick.
Make sure the test is at room temperature (15-30◦C). Immerse the test strip in the sample with the arrow pointing towards the sample. Remove the test strip from the sample after three seconds and place it on a level, clean, dry and non-absorbent surface. Do not let the test get wet above the MAX mark, as this will prevent the test from working properly.
A positive result can be read after about a minute, but to confirm a negative result, you should wait three minutes. The test result must be read within 5 minutes at the latest.
When interpreting the result of a pregnancy test, it is important to follow the instructions and the five-minute reading time given in them. The reading time of five minutes is given because after those five minutes the test result may become incorrect. The five-minute reading time is simply due to the fact that the test is performed at home, not in sterile laboratory conditions, and the urine sample is not pure urine but naturally contains various impurities. This rule applies to all home tests performed on urine.
Positive result
Clear colored lines appear in both the control area (C) and the test area (T). This means you are pregnant. The color of the test lines may vary due to different HCG hormone concentrations. The test window turning reddish is also normal, it is due to the composition of the urine.
Negative result
Only one colored line appears in the control area. No visible line appears in the test area. This means that no pregnancy/increased HCG concentration was detected.
Failed test
No colored line appears at all or the line appears only in the test area but not in the control area. Repeat the test using a new dipstick. If the test fails again, contact the retailer or manufacturer.
Often when talking about the results of pregnancy tests, the term "ghost line" or "line location" comes up, which refers to a very faint line that is difficult to distinguish from the test window. The legend of the ghost line is entirely due to the technical characteristics of the test, as there must be a point in the test window area where the possible positive result line will appear. This point has been treated with a substance that reacts to a certain concentration of the HCG hormone, so it turns reddish if the hormone level is sufficient.
A positive result is clear and cannot be confused with a ghost. If you are unsure about your result, it is worth repeating the test after 48 hours, by which time your HCG level may have risen.
