Cumin is a powerful and versatile spice that's a staple in Middle Eastern cuisine. It's a match made in heaven for flavoring various meat, poultry, vegetable, fish, and rice dishes, as well as different types of bread. Cumin is sometimes also called Jeera or Roman cumin.
